The Gist of it all..

Starting off, I googled gist and I am still not sure if it's 'gist' or 'jist'. Or exactly what it means. But anyways! The point of this is just some minor details of the wedding that maybe some people aren't up on. We're getting married October 24th, 2009. The wedding is at Gahanna Community Congregational Church (it's a mouthful). Finding a church was difficult, just because we don't belong anywhere our selves. But we found this and it met the criteria (center aisle for me to prance down to my future husband). It's pretty laid back. They don't require premarital counseling. Which for some might be a good thing. But I was kind of looking forward to it. To see how realistic my view on marriage actually is. We do meet with the pastor and a coordinator before hand to discuss all of the details of the actual ceremony though.

Reception::: The reception will follow afterwards and that party is going down at Tall Timbers. Which is a banquet center in Reynoldsburg. It's a pretty simple room with not a lot going on. It has a nice size dance floor which is a requirement. But we will definantely have to do a lot with decorations. That is a whole other day and a whole other post. The ceremony will begin around approx. 3:00pm or 3:30pm. And then the reception will follow directly after at

5:00pm-10:00pm. I hope its a night full of dancing, friends, family and more fun then anyone can handle. So that are the basics, and basically all we have nailed down. I have a dress, we have somewhere to get married, and somewhere to after, there is so much more to do! 9 1/2 months to go!
